VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Action Aid is a global justice federation working to achieve social justice, gender equality and poverty eradication. Action Aid International Nepal (AA Nepal) is a member of the Federation, working for human rights, anti-poverty and gender equality. It is a non-governmental national social justice organization established in 1982 and working locally in different provinces of Nepal. It is also a part of both national and global social justice movement and other civil society networks, alliances and coalitions.

AA Nepal is seeking competent, committed and result-oriented candidates for the two positions mentioned below:

1. Internal Auditor

• Key Responsibilities:

S/he is responsible to conduct internal audits, maintain risk register to give reassurance to the AA Nepal management that the system of internal control is adequate to achieve management objectives in an efficient and orderly manner. S/he objectively examines, evaluates and reports on the adequacy of internal control as a contribution to the proper, economic and effective use of resources and management of organizational risks.

Key Competencies Required:

• A Master’s degree in Business Administration/Accounting/Auditing or Finance or relevant field from a recognized University; ACCA/CA qualified professional is highly preferred.
• At least 4-5 years’ work experience in related field in similar organization and role, and experience of working in multi-cultural environment.
