Invitation for Bids for the Construction of Boundary Wall and Gate at Kanakai Municipality Office.

1.The Government of Nepal /GoNJ has allocated funds or received a loan/credit/grant from GoN towards the cost of Construction of Boundary Wall and Gate at Kanakai Municipality Office and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for Construction of Boundary Wall and Gate at Kanakai Municipality Office, Contract Identification No: KAN-02/073-74. Bidding is open to all eligible Nepalese Bidders.

2.The Ministry of Federal Affairs and Local Development, Kanakai Muncipality Office, Jamunbari, State No.- I invites sealed bids or electronic bids from eligible bidders for the construction of boundary wall, gate etc.under National Competitive Bidding procedures.

Eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Bidding Documents at the office of Ministry of Federal Affairs and Local Development, Kanakai Muncipality Office, Jamunbari. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased from the office of Ministry of Federal Affairs and Local Development . Kanakai Muncipality Office, Jamunbari, State No.- 1 by eligible Bidders on the submission of a written application.along with the copy of company/firm registration certificate, and upon payment of a non- refundable fee of NRs 3000.00 till 9^lh May 2017 (26t^h Baisakh 2074), total amount excluding VAT and Contingency is Rs. 45,43,004.65 (In Words- Forty Five Lakhs Forty Three Thousands Four and Sixty Five Paisa Only). Bidder who chooses to submit their bid electronical!) may purchase the hard copy of the bidding documents as mentioned above or may dow n load the bidding documents for e-submission from PPMO’s Web Site www.bolpatra.gov.np. Bidders, submitting their bid electronically, should deposit the cost (as specified above) of bidding document in the office’s account as specified below and the scanned copy (pdf format) of the Bank deposit voucher shall be uploaded by the bidder at the time of electronic submission of the bids. 5 Pre-bid meeting shall be held at Kanakai Municipality Office, Jamunbari on 30^th April 2017 (17t^h Baisakh 2074).The bidder or his authorized representative is encouraged to attend the pre-bid meeting.

• Sealed or electronic bids must be submitted to Kanakai Muncipality Office, Jamunbari, State No.- 1 by hand/courier or through PPMO website bolnatra.aov.nn/eaD. on or before 12:00 on l(1^u May 2017 (27th Baisakh 2074). Bids received after this deadline will be rejected.

• The bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 14:00 on 10th May 2017 (27th Baisakh 2074) at Kanakai Muncipality Office, Jamunbari. State No.- I. Bids must be valid for a period of”90 days after bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security or scanned copy of the bid security in. pdf format in case of e-bid. amounting to a minimum of NRs 1,25,000.00 for Contract Identification No: KAN-02/073-74 which shall be valid for 30 days beyond the validity period of the bid.
• If the last date of purchasing and/or submission falls on a government holiday, then the next working day shall be considered as the last date. In such case the validity period of the bid security shall remain the same as specified for the original last date of bid submission.
