Invitation for Bids for the Construction of Interior Works of Office Building at Lagankhel, Lalitpur

1. Karmachari Sanchaya Kosh invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the construction of interior works including civil, interior partition layout, electrical, sanitary, communication & network, furniture etc. of office building at Lagankhel, Lalitpur under National Competitive Bidding – Single Stage Two Envelope Bidding procedures.

Only eligible bidders with the following key qualifications should participate in this bidding:

•  Minimum Average Annual Construction Turnover of the best 3 years within the last 10 years: NRs.225,500,000.00 (Two Hundred Twenty-five Million Five Hundred Thousand Only).
•  Minimum Work experience of similar size and nature: One Office/lnstitutional/Commercial Building Construction OR Building Interior Works Contract within the last ten (10) years, with a value of at least NRs.120,200,000.00 (One Hundred Twenty Million Two Hundred Thousand Only).

2. Under the single stage, two envelopes procedure, bidders are required to submit simultaneously two separate sealed envelopes, one containing (i) the technical bid and the other (ii) the price bid, both in turn enclosed in one sealed envelope as per the provision of ITB 21 of the bidding document.

3. Eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the office of Building and Housing Management Department, Karmachari Sanchaya Kosh, Pulchowk, Lalitpur, Tel. No.:01-5010009, 5010309, facsimile: 01-5010232, or by email:building@epfnepal.com.np.

4. A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased from the office of Building and Housing Management Department, Karmachari Sanchaya Kosh, Pulchowk, Lalitpur or the office of Building Section, Karmachari Sanchaya Kosh, Lagankhel, Lalitpur by eligible Bidders on the submission of a written application, along with the copy of company/firm registration certificate, and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of NRs. 10,000.00 till 2076-07-01 during office hours.

5. Pre-bid meeting shall be held at Building and Housing Management Department, Karmachari Sanchaya Kosh, Pulchowk, Lalitpur at 1:00PM on 2076-06-24.

6. Sealed bids must be submitted to the office of Building and Housing Management Department, Karmachari Sanchaya Kosh, Pulchowk, Lalitpur by hand/courier on or before 12:15 PM on 2076-07-03. Bids received after this deadline will be rejected.

7. The bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 2:00 PM on 2076-07-03 at the office of Building and Housing Management Department, Karmachari Sanchaya Kosh, Pulchowk, Lalitpur. Bids must be valid for a period of 120 days after bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security amounting to a minimum of NRs.4,900,000.00 (Four Million Nine Hundred Thousand Only), which shall be valid for 30 days beyond the validity period of the bid (i.e.2076-11-05).

8. If the last date of purchasing and /or submission falls on a government holiday, then the next working day shall be considered as the last date. In such case the validity period of the bid security shall remain the same as specified for the original last date of bid submission.
