  1. Rajdevi Municipality invites following bid to cover eligible payment under the Contract for Badharwa-lndia Boarder Black top Road Construction work (IPB No: 03/RM/NCB/N/076-077).
  2. Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures (Model Bidding Document as per Electronic Government Procurement issued by PPMO. This is open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Bidding Documents. A margin of preference shall not apply.

  1. To qualify for award of contract, eligible Bidders must meet the following key qualifications and other qualifications specified in bidding documents:

Minimum Average Annual Construction Turnover of the best three (3) years within the last Ten (10) years: (NRs 8.40.00.000.00)

Minimum Work experience of similar size and nature: [Must meet requirement of Two(2) road works contract each with a value of at least NRs 6.2100,000.00 and 52,450 m of Earth Work and 4000 m of Screened Sub-base work (CRM) with compaction work and 780 m of premix carpet work in single contract]

  1. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Office of the Municipal Executive. Rajdevi Municipality, Rautahaiand inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below during office hours or may visit E-procurement section of PP.MO’s Web Site http://www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp.
  2. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by the interested bidders upon submission of a written application to the Office of the Municipal Executive. Rajdevi Municipality, Rautahat and upon payment of a non- refundable fee as shown in the above table. Bidding documents can be purchased during office hours till 25th Feb 2020 (17:00 Hours)from Office of the Municipal Executive. Rajdevi Municipality, Rautahat. For the purpose of Bidders who choose to submit their bid electronically through E-procurement section of PPMO’s Web Site http://www.bolpatna.gov.np/egp.. the Bidders may either purchase the hard copy of bidding documents or may choose to download the bidding documents, prepare their bids and submit their electronic bids as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. In case the Bidder chooses to download and submit bid electronically, the bidder shall be required to deposit the cost of bidding document (as specified in the table above) in the Employer’s Rajaswa (revenue) account as specified below and scanned copy (PDF format) of the Bank deposit voucher shall also be submitted along with the electronic submission of the bid files.   1. Pre-bid meeting will be held in Office of the Municipal Executive. Rajdevi Municipality, Rautahatai 11:00 hrs on 16th Feb 2020.
  2. Sealed or electronic bids must be submitted to the Office of the Municipality Executive. Rajdevi Municipality, Rautahat by hand courier or through PPMO website bolpatra.gov.np/egp on or before 12:00 hrs of 26th Feb 2020. Late bids will be rejected and not opened. The bids will be opened physically and electronically at 14:00 hours on 26th Feb 2020 in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in person at Rajdevi Municipality. Rautahat.
  3. Bidders arc required to specify the total price of the Bid in the Letter of Bid or the Bid Price in the Bill of Quantities. Failure to specify the total price of the Bid in the Letter of Bid or the Bill of Quantities shall be ground for declaring the bid non responsive.
  4. Bids shall be valid for the period as mentioned in the table above after the deadline for Bid submission and Bid security shall be 30 days more as bid validity period.
  5. Office of the Municipal Executive. Rajdevi Municipality, Rautahat reserves right to accept or reject any or all bids or annul the bidding process and reject all bids without assigning any reason, whatsoever.
  6. If the last date of pre-bid meeting, purchasing and /or submission falls on a government holiday, then the same time on next working day shall be considered as the last date. In such case the validity period of the bid security shall remain the same as specified for the original last date of bid submission.
