- Peoples Energy Limited (PEL) invites sealed tenders for Khimti-2 Hydroelectric Project from duly registered eligible Nepalese Tenderers for the following works:

Lot 1 Civil Construction Works include river diversion, weir, sluiceways, intake, gravel trap, approach tunnel, underground settling basin, flushing tunnel, part of headrace tunnel and other works as defined in the Tender Document.
Lot 2 Civil Construction Works include part of headrace tunnel, surge tunnel, vertical shaft, penstock tunnel, penstock civil works, powerhouse, tailrace tunnel and other works as defined in the Tender Document.
Detail qualification criteria for the Tenderers are elaborately described in the Tender Document.
- Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from Peoples Energy Limited and inspect the Tender Document at the address given below during business hours.
- A complete set of Tender Document in English for each Lot can be purchased separately by interested Tenderers from 3rd May 2017 onwards, on the submission of a written application to the address given below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of NPR 10,000/- (in words, Nepalese Rupees Ten Thousand only) deposited in the Account No. 0230000003707 at Sanima Bank, New Baneshwor Branch or in the form of draft drawn in favor of Peoples Energy Limited. The document will be handed over to the representative of the Tenderer upon production of the evidence of payment of the fee.
- Tenders must be delivered to the address given below, before 16:00 hours local time on or before 11th June 2017. All Tenders must have a validity period of at least 90 days from last date of Tender submission, accompanied by a Tender Security with a validity period of at least 150 days from last date of Tender submission.
- Peoples Energy Limited reserves the right to amend and correct the Tender Document, Tender notice or any other documents at any time.
- Tenderer must visit the project site for tender preparation. A pre-tender meeting will take place at the venue, date and time stipulated in the Tender Document after the site visit or at the revised date and time which shall be informed later separately.
- Late Tenders shall be rejected. Technical Proposals qualification document (Envelop-1) only will be opened in the presence of the Tenderers’representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 17:00 hours local time on 11th June 2017.
- The Sealed Tender/financial bid (Envelop-2) of only technically qualified Tenders (will be informed later) will be opened in presence of the Tenderers’representatives.
- If the given date happens to be an official holiday, the next working day shall be considered as the date for Tender submission and opening.
- Peoples Energy Limited reserves the right to accept or reject, wholly or partly any or all the Tenders without assigning any reason whatsoever.
