REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

Search for Common Ground

Search for Common Ground (Search) is an international peace building organization that strives to transform the way the world deals with conflicts, away from adversarial approaches towards collaborative problem solving. Since 2006. our programs in Nepal aim to support development and long-term peace, focusing on five areas: strengthening governance and democratic participation; promoting peace building and reconciliation; enhancing access to justice and security; supporting development and economic growth; and developing leadership and a culture of dialogue. Search is seeking proposal from eligible and interested individuals/consulting firms for the following:

  1. DEVELOPMENT OF TRAINING MANUALS: Search, in a consortium, is leading an innovative 4-year UKAID funded project. PAHUNCH (ACCESS), with the aim to strengthen rule of law in Nepal The project’s objective is to help create an environment where the poor and marginalized communities, especially women, will have improved security and access to justice system. Under this project. Search is seeking proposal from eligible and interested individuals/consulting firms to review the existing training manuals, research reports and other literature and develop training manuals and curriculum on (i) citizen friendly behaviors and community engagement and (it) GBV/VAW case management to Nepal Police and facilitate training of trainers with Nepal Police in 11 project districts.
  2. DEVELOPMENT OF MOBILE APPLICATION: Search, in a consortium, is implementing a three year European Union funded project. ‘Hamro Shiksha’: Strengthening CSOs Role in Governance and Accountability of Nepal’s Education Sector. Under this project, we are seeking proposal from eligible and interested consulting firms to develop mobile application for android based devices with all contents agreed upon with Search.
