Sale of Surplus WFP Motorbikes and Electric Cars on “as’-is-where-is” basis Open to the General Public

NOTICE

The World Food Programme of the United Nations in Nepal (WFP) is going to organize the sale of some office Motorbikes and Electric Cars in surplus status.

  1. Motorbikes and Electric Cars:

Motorbikes and Elcctric Cars can be inspcctcd between 10:00 hours to 16:00 hours from 1 April to 2 April 2017 at WFP Premises, Chakupat, and Lalitpur. Interested parties shall fill out the Bid form and attach a bank draft with an earnest money of NPR 5,000 per motorbike and NPR 20,000 per clcctric car and handover to WFP in a scaled envelope by 16:00 hours on 6 April 2017 the latest.

The Bid forms will be available at the Main Gate of WFP between 10:00 hours to 16:00 hours from 1 April to 6 April 2017.

  1. Conditions of Sale of Vehicles:
  • Custom duties will be applicable as per the most rcccnt rules and regulations of the Government of Nepal;
  • Motorbikes and Elcctric Cars arc offered for sale on “as-is-where-is”;
  • Motorbikes and Electric Cars will be released to the winning buyers only upon submission of the duty paid rcccipt and ownership transfer document;
  • Earnest money deposited by the winning bidder will not be refunded under any circumstanccs;
  • WFP office reserves the right to withdraw any or all items from sale without assigning any reason/s whatsoever.

The bid results will be published by 16:30 hours on Tuesday, 11 April 2017, which will be posted at the Main Gate of WFP.

The Succcssful bidder should deposit the offered amount at the Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Limited, located at UN House, Pulchowk, not later than 13 April 2017.

Venue: WFP premises, Patan Dhoka, Chakupat, Lalitpur WFP RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ACCEPT OR REJECT ANY OR ALL OFFERS WITHOUT ASSIGNING ANY REASON/S WHATSOEVER
