VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

The Asia Foundation invites applications for the following positions:

  • Position: Field Coordinator, Consultant (2 positions)

The Field Coordinator will be responsible for supporting support overall provincial and local government level program management and implementation as instructed by the TAF Nepal Country Office. S/he will be stationed at their designated province (2 and Karnali), tasked with overseeing coordination of TAF’s interests in the municipalities, while frequently visiting the TAF Country Office in Kathmandu and other program implementation sites as necessary by the; guaranteeing frequent communication and the accurate relaying of information. S/he will be the liaison between elected representatives of partner province and municipalities, municipal officials, respective provincial government, other relevant stakeholders, and along with its implementing partners in the municipalities.

  • Essential: Bachelor’s degree in development studies, law, public policy, political science, economics, international development or other relevant field is preferred. Knowledge on local government’s operation and at least have one year of experience working with local government is preferred.
