Sagarmatha Insurance Company Limited has been providing insurance services since 1996 is the first foreign joint venture (Ceylinco Insurance PLC, Sri Lanka) general insurance company of Nepal.

In line with company’s expansion and growth strategy, we seek to employ number of potential candidates for corporate and branch offices (For both Inside & Outside Valley)

Assistant General Manager

This position will require AGM to specifically look into the marketing and operation function. In doing so, s/he needs to formulate strategies to enhance the existing scenario and support the higher authority in directing and guiding the team. S/he will have to coordinate with respective branch and department head over creating smooth operating system.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree/Master’s degree in relevant subjects such as Banking & Insurance, Marketing, Accounts, Economics or Management.
  • Prior experience of minimum 5 years in insurance sector at managerial position.
  • In-depth knowledge of the business products, existing market trend and practices.
  • Required PowerPoint presentation for business development to the Management.
  • Proficient in financial analysis.
  • Must be well-familiar with directives of the regulatory body.
  • Should have strong leadership personality with communication ability

COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE

Knowledge of insurance Law, Provision of Tariffs, Directives of Insurance Board, Prior experience in General Insurance Industry, Fluent in English & Nepali typing.
