Sunaulo Parivar Nepal (SPN) is a well-established NGO delivering Family Planning and Sexual Reproductive Health services through out the country via centers, mobile outreach teams to remote areas and social marketing. It works in partnership with Marie Scopes International UK (MSI), a global social business providing reproductive health services across the world with a mission of ensuring individual’s fundamental right to have children by choice not chance.

Position, required number and Base Job Description Minimum Requirement
Medical Officer 4 Support Office, Kathmandu (with extensive field visit) •                      Effective client screening and quality service to client

•                      Maintain clinical procedure as per SPN/MSI medical protocol and National Medical Standard

•                      Perform sterilization (Mini lap and Vasectomy) in the camp

•                      Travel to site to conduct outreach or to fulfill staff gap

•                      MBBS with 3 years of professional work experience in the field of Family Planning

•                      Training on CAC, Mini lap and Vasectomy will be an advantage

ANM (LARC) 9 (Sunsari, Morang, Nuwakot, lamjung, Gorkha, Achham, Bajura, Makwanpur) •                      Insert IUCD, Implant and provide other FP services as required.

•                      Provide accurate information and counseling on family planning and reproductive health

•                      Sterilize tools/equipment as required

•                      Record keeping and reporting

•                      Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (ANM) training with 2-year experience in family planning

•                      Registered in Nepal Nursing Council

•                      Training in IUD and Implant preferred (Please state preferred location)

DG Coordinator (LARC)

10 (Sindhupalchwok, Parsa, Ham,

Nawalparasi, Kapilvastu, Sunsari, Morang, Nuwakot, Lamjung, Gorkha, Achham,

Bajura, Makwanpur

•                      Implement community IPC and demand generation activation strategy

•                      Analysis of client segment and family planning status of assigned location.

•                      Identify different referral check points in the area and develop strategies to maximize referrals

•                      Establish and maintain productive relationships with key public and private stakeholders

•                      Intermediate level in any discipline (Bachelor’s degree preferred)

•                      Minimum of 1-year experience in carrying out demand generation or sales activities (preferably focused on SRH)

•                      Locals with two-wheeler and a valid driving license preferred

Outreach Staff Nurse – 1 – Support Office, Kathmandu (with 80% travel) •                      Provide family planning services in mobile bus operated by SPN/MSI

•                      Counseling clients on matters related to family planning and reproductive health

•                      Ensure availability of required equipment’s and medicines in mobile bus

•                      Record keeping and reporting

•                      PCL in Nursing with 1-year experience in family planning

•                      Registered in Nepal Nursing Council

•                      Training in IUD, Implant, SBA or CAC preferred

Outreach ANM -1 – Support Office, Kathmandu (with 80 % travel) •                       Provide family planning services in mobile bus operated by SPN/MSI

•                       Counseling clients on matters related to family planning and reproductive health

•                       Sterilize tools/equipment as required

•                       Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (ANM) training with 1-year experience in family planning

•                       Registered m Nepal Nursing Council

•                       Training in IUD and Implant preferred
