The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) has been working in Nepal as a bilateral agency, undertaking development cooperation programs on behalf of South Korean Government. KOICA is implementing various programs Projects, Dispatch of Volunteer and Fellowship Programs.

KOICA is looking for an experienced and qualified Nepali national to fill the following position.

Position : Manager (Security/Administration)

Contract Duration : Until March 31, 2020 from the appointment date (including 3 months of Probation period) The Contract can be Renewed after performance review

DutyStation : KOICANepalOffice,Jwagal,Lalitpur(withfrequentfieldvisits)

Office Hours : Full-Time (09:00-17:00), Monday to Friday (the nature of work

sometimes might require commitment during non-office hours)
Job Responsibilities (Security related):

• Focal person for security and emergency work and responsible for delegating overall security related work of KOICA Nepal Office

• Documentation and submission of regular and other necessary reports affecting KOICA programs, KOICA personnel, office and assets. Prepare security report incidents

• Development of Guideline for emergency time , general and specific relocation, medical evacuation and other evacuation plans, develop residence security manuals

• Coordination, networking and liaison with counterparts of other organization such as government organization, volunteer recipient organization, security related stakeholders for any security matters.

• Establish good network with personnel looking after security matters of other international organizations. Be able to share information effectively

• Responsible for security evaluation and provide advice on security measures, organizing and conducting security training courses/ sessions and preparedness, security briefings as and when required.

• Ableto manage overall security related administration/operational work.

• Perform any other security related duties as directed by the Country Director.

Job Responsibilities (Administration related):

• Responsible for the administrative works, coordination, networking, with Ministries and related stakeholders with regards to the overall VISA issues of Korean Employees, KOICA Volunteers and Expert.

• Perform administrative duties with regards to managing office safety and security issues especially focusing to office houses (KOICA Office, KOICA officials’ residence, KOICA Volunteer Hostel).

• Responsible for managing and handling overall administrative work with regards to the regular health checkup and insurance of KOICA staff and Volunteers.

• Maintains cordial relation with health institutions, Insurance companies and other related stakeholders.

• Establish high and reliable network with government, police and other relevant agencies.

• Performs any other administration duties as assigned by Country Director.

Required qualification

• Master Degree in any discipline with very Good Communication skills

• Nepali Citizen (both male and female) with good health condition for frequent domestic travel.

• Multi-tasking and good interpersonal skills

• Mandatory minimum 5 years’ work experience in security sector.

• Proficient Nepali and English language skill (speaking and writing good reports)

• Appropriate computer skills(including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
