World Vision

World Vision International Nepal (WVIN), an international Christian relief, development and advocacy organisation dedicated to working with children, families and communities to overcome poverty and injustice, is looking for potential Nepalese candidates to fill out the following positions:

  1. Position: Field Supply Chain Management (SCM) Coordinator
  • Key Responsibilities: Under the direct supervision of Deputy SCM Manager, Field SCM Coordinator is responsible for execution of all procurement activities against the requisitions for goods, works and services across various commodity categories and ensuring that purchase conditions and supplier relationships are in alignment with WVIN Procurement Policies.This position will work closely with the technical and non-technical staffs in Central Field Office in order to acquire appropriate and quality goods and services as per the specific requirements of WVIN projects. The incumbent will support partner NGOs in standardizing their procurement processes to fulfill WVIN and donors’ policy requirements. S/He will adopt strategies to meet department goals and provide relevant information and recommendations to the management for proper decision-making. S/He will also assist in the development of high standard of accountability and transparency in procurement of goods and services.
  • Minimum Qualifications and Experience required: Bachelor’s Degree in management or any relevant discipline with at least 2 years’ experience in supply chain/procurement/logistics (experience in l/NGOs preferred).

Must have strong knowledge of Source-to-Pay(S2P) processes. Should have strong negotiation, interpersonal skills, organizational, administrative and facilitation skills. Should have demonstrated collaboration & team building skills and be competent in the use of Microsoft Office computer programs including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Must be able to interact with a diverse groups and is willing to travel to remote field locations.
