DUTIES:
Under the supervision of Financial Specialist, the incumbent is responsible for the complete range of budget formulation, financial planning, budget execution, budget analysis and accounting for assigned allotments. The incumbent initiates budget data calls for ongoing operations and one time needs. Uses data from calls to project realistic budgets that reflect post priorities based the target/base, as well as guidance from the Bureau and Financial Management Officer. The incumbent identifies and resolves accounting problems and issues in records, appropriations, and obligations which are in noncompliance with accounting policies and practices or adversely affect funds.
EDUCATION: Completion of Bachelors Degree in accounting or business administration is required
EXPERIENCE: Minimum three years of progressively responsible experience in accounting or budget is required.
JOB KNOWLEDGE: Good knowledge of general budgeting and accounting procedures is required.
LANGUAGE: Level IV (fluent) Speaking/Reading/Writing English is required. Level IV (fluent) Speaking/Reading/Writing Nepali is required. English language ability will be tested.
