FULL DESCRIPTION:

Health Systems Strengthening Specialist:

Health Systems Strengthening Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that the health systems strengthening activities are implemented and well-coordinated. The staff will provide direction, leadership, and on-going assessment of the project’s health systems component, including activities to support district and municipal level policymakers on strategic planning, resource allocation, budget execution and monitoring, human resource planning and management. Provide technical support at provincial level and oversee the multi-disciplinary teams in the municipalities.

Qualification requirements include the following:

• Master’s Degree in Public Health, Management, Health Economics or other relevant field.
• 6 plus years of relevant professional experience, and experience with USAID projects preferred.
• Ability to independently plan and execute complex tasks while addressing daily management details and remaining organized and focused on long-term deadlines and strategy.
