Position: Horizon and Information Management Coordinator (One)-based in National Office, Lalitpur

Key Responsibilities: The purpose of this position is to support to ensure that the necessary programmes and project information are placed in the Horizon in timely and effective manner; Support in managing and utilizing the system for decision making process is on  WVI’s Programmes and Project Management Information System, where project ac. .jes, budget, indicators are entered, updated, maintained, reported in terms of structural or unstructured data. He/She will work as a lead for Horizon that includes managing programme information, budget information, capacity building and troubleshooting; Supporting in document management system. Under the guidance of Information and Strategy Manager the person will work in close cooperation with Programmes, WVIN Information Communication Technology (ICT) Team and Finance Team.

Minimum Qualifications, Experience and Competencies required for the position: A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/ Business Information Technology with at least 3 years of experience; Good understanding of humanitarian Sector; Demonstrated ability in the use of quantitative and qualitative data collection methods, including survey techniques and participatory approaches; Knowledge of creative approaches to information and document management; Proven experience of 2 years in Information and Document Management and community led development Should have knowledge in Document Management System. Core competencies for the positions: Excellent oral and written English & Nepali; Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications including use of Microsoft Office; Ready to take initiatives and willing to work under pressure and exhibit a high level of flexibility; Hold a high level of integrity and honesty, self-motivated, confident, and able to work independently; Strategic, creative, and innovative thinking with decision making and problem solving skills; Good understanding of humanitarian Sector; Committed to World Vision Core Values and Mission Statement.
