FULL DESCRIPTION:

Information Systems Specialist:

The Information Systems Specialist, reporting to the Provincial Team Lead, is responsible for strengthening the capacity of managers at the provincial & palika level to generate accurate data and make evidence-based management and resource allocation decisions.

Qualification requirements include the following:

• Post-graduate Degree in Health Informatics, Public Health, Epidemiology, Statistics, Social Sciences or other relevant field.
• 6 years of relevant professional experience in information systems and/or monitoring, evaluation, and learning in the public health field, with progressively increasing level of responsibility.
• Demonstrated expertise in rigorous on quantitative research and analytical methods, some experience with qualitative research; firm command of information issues with respect to health systems; Experience working on USAID projects highly desirable.
