The Local Governance and Community Development Programme (LGCDPI-II implemented by the Ministry of Federal Affairs and Local Development (MoFALD) and supported by a range of development partners, is transitioning into the Sub National Governance Programme in the context of the new federal Constitution and the three tiers of government system. With this background, the LGCDP II has been extended for one more year as a Transition to Sub National Governance Programme (TSNGP) with the objective of supporting institutionalization of sub national governance for smoother and efficient transition management.

LGCDPll- TSNGP is seeking applications from qualified, talented and result oriented Nepalese citizens for the following positions:

Post Title: e- Governance cum Reporting Expert                 Contract type and level: SB 4 Peg 2

No. of positions: Seven          Contract Duration: Till June 2018

Duty Station: Provincial Support Units: Dhulikhel. Nepalgunj. Pokhara. Biratnagar. Hetauda. Surkhet and Kailali

Job responsibilities: The e-Governance cum Reporting Expert will work under the overall supervision of the Deputy NPM and under the day to day supervision of respective Provincial Support Coordinator cum Capacity Development Expert. S.be will be supporting the TSNGP at provincial level through Provincial Support Units (PSUs) to achieve the TNGSP programme goals, purpose, outcomes and outputs. S/he w ill be expected to collaborate with all the e-Governance and Reporting Experts at provincial level and initiate know ledge networking and contribute to a horizontal learning culture. Qualification and experience required: Completion of Masters Degree in e-Governance. Management with IT degree or Computer Science along with IT applications. Public Administration; 5 years’ experience in e-Governance, IT governance standards and policies.

Job responsibilities: The Social Mobilization cum Gender Quality and Social Inclusion (SM GESI) Expert w ill work under the overall supervision of the Deputy NPM and under the day to day supervision of respective Provincial Support Coordinator cum Capacity Development Expert. S’he will be supporting the TSNGP at provincial level through Provincial Support Units (PSUs) to achieve the TNGSP programme goals, purpose, outcomes and outputs. S’he will be expected to collaborate with all the other experts in PSUs and initiate knowledge networking and contribute to a horizontal learning culture.

Qualification and experience required: Completion of Master’s Degree in Social Science. Rural Development. Gender or related field: 5 years’ experience in social mobilization and community development with hands-on expertise in GESI; experience in working at grassroots’community level is an essential requirement of the post.
