Maternal Newborn Child Health and Family Planning(MNCH FP) Specialist:

NCH FP Specialist will oversee implementation and quality of the maternal, newborn and child health and family planning activities jointly with the Kathmandu based MNCH/FP Specialist, Senior Technical Advisor and other Senior Management Team iMT) members of the central and provincial technical teams. She/he will coordinate with the Social Development Ministries in Karnali Province and, as required, in Province 5 and health department and sections looking after maternal, newborn child health and family planning (or appropriate authorities) of Ministry of Health at provincial level and other development partners primarily forking in the field of MNCH and FP.

qualifications requirements include the following:

  • University Degree in Medicine, Nursing or Public Health with experience in maternal, newborn and child health sector. Clinical background and experience preferred.
  • 6 years of minimum experience in related roles and responsibilities and experience working with sub-national stakeholders in health.
  • Previous experience of working in role with RHD and donor or NGO or civil societies.
