World Vision International Nepal (WVIN).an international Christian relief, development and advocacy organisation dedicated to working with children, families and communities to overcome poverty and injustice, is looking for potential Nepalese candidates to fill out the following positions:

Position: Monitoring, Evaluation,Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Specialist (One)-based in East Field Office, Biratnagar

Key Responsibilities: The main purpose of this position is to coordinate and ensure monitoring of all programmes (Technical Programs. Area Programs), projects (grants & PNS and sponsorship funded projects).The monitoring includes tracking of the activities against plans, tracking of the beneficiaries, outcome monitoring as per the definite frequencies, quality monitoring as per the defined process; and to produce the results at project/ programme and national level. This position is also expected to prepare guidelines for different levels of monitoring and analysis. The M&E Specialist (Monitoring) will basically work with the Regional MEAL Specialists to ensure monitoring of the works delivered by the NGOs and will also work to build capacity of NGOs in doing right monitoring.

Minimum Qualifications, Experience and Competencies required for the position: A Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Engineering, Health, Economics or Development Studies with 4-5 years proven record of designing surveys, leading surveys and analysis (esp. indicators in education, health, anthropometric, economic); Strong Logical skills (log-frame, outcome mapping, theory of change); Designing social surveys, leading the surveys and analysis; Knowledge in SPSS or STRATA is preferred; Advanced Excel and quantitative skills; Demonstrate collaboration & team building skills; Proven experience in monitoring of at least 2 years is required; could have the ability to handle mega data; Travel up to 25% per month; Good understand of humanitarian sector.
