Room to Read (RtR) seeks to transform the lives of millions of children in low income countries by focusing on Literacy and Gender Equality in Education.

Room to Read Nepal invites applications from interested Nepali citizens for the following positions;

2. Officer – Material, Literacy Program – Kathmandu -1

The Officer, Material will organize and oversee the complete process of Quality Reading Material (“QRM”) Unit of Room to Read in Nepal ensuring the quality of children’s books and designing of instructional materials in coordination with Instructional Design and Teacher Support (“IDTS”) Unit and Curriculum Development Centre/government and other relevant organizations.

The key selection criteria are:

• Master’s degree in Education with specialization in Nepali or related field
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience (Instructional materials design & development and teacher training)
• Experience of working in book publishing industry, edit stories and QRM books in Nepali language
