Handicap International Federation, operating as Humanity & Inclusion (HI) Nepal is contributing in Nepal since 2000. HI works through a network of local partner organizations in the area of physical rehabilitation, inclusive education & livelihood, emergency response and human rights to improve the living conditions and involvement of vulnerable populations in Nepal. HI Nepal is looking for the following positions:

1. Sr. Project Officer – Inclusive Livelihoods (1 position)

• Lead to design action plan and implement, monitor, report “On Farm’ as well as ‘Off Farm’ livelihood activities, microenterprise and entrepreneurship initiatives under the project;

• Minimum Bachelors of Agriculture or Business Management with 4-5 years of livelihoods related experiences or Masters dcgree with 3 year of relevant experiences

• Experiences on microfinance, local marketing promotion, coordination with NGOs/DPOs needed

2. Sr. Project Officer. Resilience (1 position)

• Support project team to mainstream health sector emergency and DRR and OM initiative into government system

• Support rehabilitation service Initiatives including Disability Inclusive Development targeted for vulnerable people

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in social science or related field with 4-5 years of related experiences or Master’s degree with 3 year of relevant experiences in DRR/lnclusive DRR thematic

3. Project Officer • Training and mentoring (1 Position)

• Support Sr. Project Officer in designing, exploring and organizing training in the themes of inclusive livelihood for people with disability

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field with 3 years of experience or a Master’s degreewith 2 years of relevant experience with one year of experience in training is preferred

• Understanding of disability creation process, social interactive model of Implementation of social protection and rehabilitation and disability inclusive development (DID)

4. Project Officer – Health Sector Emergency (1 position)

• Coordinate with municipalities, D/PHOs, provincial and municipal hospitals to ensure effective implementation of health emergency initiatives linked with natural disaster and epidemic outbreak

• Minimum Bachelor of Public Health, Health Care Management and other health science field with 3 years proven experience on related thematic

5. Project Officer – Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR)

• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders-CDO Office, NRCS and other DRR and DM actors to ensure effective implementation of DRM activities for vulnerable people

• Minimum Bachelor of Environment Science, social science field with 3 years proven experience on related thematic or a Master’s degree with 2 years of relevant experience

6. Social Workers (few positions)

• Identify person with disability for inclusive livelihood activities and assess livelihood need and provide personalized social services

• Contribute to develop Municipality and Ward level disability data pool, socio-demography profile, case study/case profile of vulnerable people who got support of social protection

• Intermediated level of qualification in minimum with 2 years of work experience in l/NGOs and private sectors with exposure to on farm and off farm livelihood activities

• People from local communities (Rasuwa, Slndhupalchowk. Dhading, Dolakha and Gorkha) will be given priority if the requirement of the position matches
