World Vision International Nepal (WVIN), an international Christian relief, development and advocacy organisation dedicated to working with children, families and communities to overcome poverty and injustice, is looking for potential Nepalese candidates to fill out the following position:

Position: Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning Coordinator (MEAL)-(One)-based in Central Field Office, Lalitpur

Key Responsibilities: The purpose of this role is to improve the quality of programme through improved monitoring and accountability system in the programme areas; to collect, collate and verify the information received from NGO partners in a way that provides current situation for appropriate programming and evidences of change over time. MEAL Coordinator is responsible to facilitate regular and periodic baseline, evaluation and monitoring process in the assigned programme areas. MEAL Coordinator needs to work closely with WV sector teams and NGO partners to strengthen monitoring systems without bias.

Minimum Qualifications, Experience and Competencies required for the position:

A Bachelor’s Degree in Development related field with at least two years’ experience in monitoring & evaluation; Should have good understanding of Programme logic, indicators, M&E plan; Must have experience in data collection methodologies; Must have been involved in design, monitoring and evaluation; Must have experience in sampling techniques, descriptive and inferential statistical analysis; Knowledge of SPSS or STATA will be advantage; Working under pressure with close deadlines. Core competencies for the position: The candidate must have excellent oral and written English & Nepali; Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications including use of Microsoft Office Packages Willing to work under pressure and exhibit a high level of flexibility; Hold a high level of integrity and honesty, self-motivated, confident, and able to work independently; Must be strategic, creative, and innovative with decision making and problem solving skills; Having good understanding of humanitarian Sector; Committed to World Vision Core Values and Mission Statement.
