Room to Read seeks to transform the lives of millions of children in low income countries by focusing on Literacy and Gender Equality in Education.

RtR Nepal invites application from interested Nepali citizen’s for the following position;

1. Manager – Research, Monitoring and Evaluation (RM&E): 1 (Kathmandu based)

The Manager – RM&E, Nepal role is to oversee all aspects of RtR Nepal CO’s monitoring, evaluation and research activities in coordination with the Global RM&E team. This position reports to the Country Director, Nepal and is a part of the Nepal Country Management Team (CMT). The position requires frequent travel to field office and project sites within different parts of Nepal and occasional international travel.

The key selection criteria are:

• Masters or advanced degree in social sciences or relevant field.
• At least 10 years of post-education relevant experience in the development sector or international development.
• Strong technical competence in research, monitoring and evaluation theories, methods and their practical application in the field.
• Prior experience in implementing and overseeing large scale data collection activities and monitoring processes.
• Strong quantitative analysis skills, with proven ability to work with data analysis software packages such as Stata/ SPSS/ SAS.
