FULL DESCRIPTION:

Bird Conservation Nepal (BCN), the BirdLife Partner in Nepal, seeks applications from qualified Nepali candidates for the following full time position based in Kathmandu.

Job Title: Research Officer

Duty Station: Kathmandu (With frequent field visit)

Contract Period: 1 year with possible extension

Qualifications: MSc in Zoology. Forestry or Relevant Field. The incumbent should have minimum two years of work experience in birds and biodiversity.

Key Competencies: Ability to use own creativity, judgement and work independently. Good knowledge on Research Design and Project Development, Command on G|S and Statistical Analysis Tools. Strong and effective oral and written communication skills.

Annual Gross Remuneration: Negotiable
