SOS Children’s Villages Nepal invites applications from result oriented and highly motivated Nepalese Citizens for the following positions at our various program locations. Job Positions:

School Principal: SOS Hermann Gmeiner School Bharatpur

School Principal is responsible for leading the school in a strategic way aligning to SOS Children’s Villages’ policies and values; having a demonstrated experience of educational leadership and management.

Required competencies:

• A demonstrated record of academic leadership experience.

• A strong work ethic to foster and sustain positive and productive relationships with key stakeholders.

• An individual of high moral character and professional integrity who can maintain credibility, confidence and pride in the school.

• An individual with outstanding communication, collaboration, planning and organizing skills.

• Comprehensive knowledge of curriculum planning, curriculum delivery, learning outcomes and impact assessment and evaluation strategies.

• Strong understanding of education policies and practices of Nepal along with an understanding of educational practices of non-profit making academic institutions.

• Strong command over English language and computer proficiency.

Qualification and Experience:

• Master’s Degree in any discipline (M. Phil, preferred) with minimum second division or equivalent GPA from a recognized university with minimum 3 years’ experience as Assistant Director/ Vice Principal or School Principal in a reputed educational institution.

• A cover letter, Curriculum Vitae, recent passport size photo, copies of academic certificates and citizenship certificate, copies of the certificate of participation in training, conferences, seminar, and publications (if any) that support applicant’s candidature.

• One-page essay on ‘Implementing new pedagogues to enhance learner’s autonomy’ for the position of Principal
