  1. Support Service Field Manager (Finance and Supply Chain Field Manager)- (One) based in East Field Office, Biratnagar (Re-advertised)

Key Responsibilities: The Support Service Manager will provide overall leadership, oversight and management support for all aspects of financial management in the Field Office. This position is seen as a strategic partner, with a focus on ensuring accountability, stewardship, coordinating planning and budgeting processes, providing accurate financial data, analysis and advice’s. He/She will be responsible for the field support staff capacity strengthening, the development and implementation of good internal controls, risk management, and utilization and safe guarding of assets according to World Vision approved policies and procedures in field offices;The person will be required to spend 70% of his/her time in managing the all aspects of financial management. Should be able to manage the Supply Chain function in area office ensuring that the procurement of organizational resources is executed effectively, efficiently and economically; Must be able to manage the Administration function ensuring that the field office is effectively supported and staff have a clean, secure and hospitable place to work.

Minimum Qualifications, Experience and Competencies required: A Master’s degree in management, business administration or related area with 3 years of experience or a Bachelor’s degree in management or business administration with more than 5 years of experience; Require knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and practical knowledge of financial systems, internal controls, supply chain management and procedures; Should have thorough understanding and experience about Nepal Government’s strategies, policies, guidelines, plans about Logistics Management; Ability to identify the Supply Chain issues at various levels at South Asian context is preferred; Should have experience of treasury activities establishment and monitoring of budgets and an understanding of data processing concepts and systems; Knowledge of government grant regulations and financial reporting requirements is preferred; Proven management and leadership skills in order to work and manage staffs of different nationalities with strong analytical skills and the ability to problem solve; Should have experience of working with Work with External Audit and International Audit; Experience of treasury activities establishment and monitoring of budgets and an understanding of data processing concepts and systems is preferred. Must be able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines; This role will require to travel to remote areas for 25% of the time; Excellent oral and written English & Nepali; Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications including use of Microsoft Office; Ready to take initiatives and willing to work under pressure and exhibit a high level of flexibility; Hold a high level of integrity and honesty, self-motivated, confident, and able to work independently; Strategic, creative, and innovative thinking with decision making and problem solving skills; Good understanding of humanitarian Sector.
