This Vacancies concerns a, Project Leader farming and Technical Assistant time from the 15th of May 2017 working in WAWCAS program in Slisha
Job Title: Project Leader – Livestock & Farming (Lamjung)
Functions:
Act as Head of the Farming prdject of Slisha within WAWCAS program in accordance with Slisha objectives, policies and procedures. Train and supervise the TA and the WAWCAS groups to develop and maintain accountability in the farming program- As a Project Leader of the farming program, this position will closely work with TA, LPLs, TL and interact with PM, and PD to promote consistency throughout the program.
Education and Experience:
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in livestock plus three years of experience, including one year in a supervisory capacity.
Job Title: Technical Assistant
Functions:
To serve as the Technical Assistant in Kathmandu/Lamjung for Slisha WAWCAS in accordance to WAWCAS objectives, policies and procedures.
Train, supervise and coordinate WAWCAS groups to develop and maintain accountability in the program. As a member of WAWCAS team, this position will closely work with Project Leader Farming, TLs and LPLs, and interact with PM, FO and PD to promote consistency throughout the program
Education and Experience:
A minimum of a 15 months JTA course, plus one year of working experience in a related field. Preference will be given to candidate with 3 years JTA course.
Requirement for the both positions:
Excellent in social mobilization skill. Ability and willingness to travel extensively and live in rural areas. Good understanding and sensitivity for poverty, social and ethnic issues and willingness to work in flexible schedules. Please send your application only through email.
