Nepal Engineering College (nec) invites applications for few teaching/research positions in its Center for Postgraduate Studies. Positions will be offered based on ner/his qualifications and experience
Teaching faculty (Construction Management)
Teaching responsibility of.the courses relevant to Construction Management totaling minimum of 9 hours of teaching per week, in the Masters program in construction management and other programs underway at nec CPS.
Planning, designing and execution of students’ research program envisaged in the program and guiding the students in identification of appropriate research site, framing of research questions, research design and development of research proposal in close consultation witn students and faculties. Evaluation of students in the courses taught
PhD in Construction Management or Civil Engineering or any related field of Engineering from a recognized university with a minimum ofl year of teaching / working experience in Construction Management. M.Sc./M.E in Construction Management or Civil Engineering or any related field of Engineering from a recongnized university with a minimum of 5 year teaching / working experience In Construction Management
Planning, designing and execution of students’ and faculty research program Developing proposals to mobilize funds and intellectual and material supports, Developing and maintaining networks with relevant development agencies, research organizations, donors and academic/research institutions. Teaching responsibility in at least one course with full teaching responsibility totaling minimum of 6 hours of teaching per week, in the Masters program.
Evaluation of the students on the courses taught Helping the Director of CPS to manage the Center.
Ph. D in Construction Management / Natural Resources Management / Environmental Engineering and Management/Water Resources Management/Transportation Engineering witn minimum of 1 year of academic, research or relevant professional experience. The candidate should have at least three

Teaching faculty (Research)
Teaching facuity (Natural Resources Management)
- Facilitation of the Masters’ course on Natural Resources Management
- Teaching of courses, especially those relating to Natural Resources Management, offered in the Masters’ program.
- Design, modification and updating of academic curriculum leading to Masters’ Program in Natural Resources Management
- Devek>p plans and strategies for quality enhancement and ensure effective execution of the quality enhancement plan.
- Evaluation of students on courses taught.
Ph.D in Natural Resources Management/ Environmental Science/Environmental Management with minimum of 1 year of teaching, research or relevant professional experience in the relevant field. The candidate should have at least three papers published in a peer reviewed journal
M.Sc. In Natural Resources Management/Environ mental Science/Environmental Management with 5 years of experience in the relevant field. The candidate should have at least two papers published in a journal and/or proceedings.
