FULL DESCRIPTION:
Nepal Eye Program, Tilganga Institute of Ophthalmology (TIO), a centre of excellence in comprehensive eye care service delivery including training; research; intraocular lens manufacturing facility; eye bank and community program is currently looking for qualified Nepali candidates to apply for the following positions on the time bound basis for the period of two year which is renewable thereafter subject to satisfactory performance.
1.Position: Optometrist
No. of Position – 1
Level – 7
Workstation – NEP-TIO and its Branches

Minimum Requirements:
• Master Degree with 2 years work experience in officer level or 4 years Bachelor Degree in Technical subject with 2 years work experience in related field
• Registered at Nepal Health Professional Council.
• Excellent communication skills, including fluency in written and spoken English
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work underpressure
Key Responsibilities:
• Examination of the human eye by prescribed and applicable method, other than surgery to diagnose and to treat or to refer for consultation or treatment for abnormal conditions of the eye and to co-manage along with physicians and other professionals for the ocular well-being of the patients.
• Deliver lectures, conduct scientific session and hands on training for diploma, undergraduate and post graduate students.
• Conduct different types of relevant trainings as required for the organisation
2.Position: Assistant – Pharmacy

Minimum Requirements:
• Diploma 3 years or Intermediate with 3 years experience in Junior Assistant Level
• Registered at Nepal Pharmacy Council
• Fluency in Nepali &English language with excellent computer skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain prescription record and inventories of mediators and pharmaceutical products andpatient’s medication profile in EMR software.
• Prepare and deliver the medicine to patients according to the prescription.
• Perform eligibility checks, arranges for alternate labelling of prescriptions to identify patients, checks for payment.
3.Position: Assistant-Anesthesia
No. of Position – Few
Level – 5A
Workstation : NEP-TIO

Minimum Requirements:
• PCLin Health sciences (Staffnurse, Health Assistant, Ophthalmic Assistant).
• 2 years experience in the field of General Anesthesia Service in reputed Hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-anesthetic assessment of patient requiring anesthesia:
• Assist anesthesologist for Pre-anesthetic check up and taking informed consent after counselling.
In the operation room complex:
• Prepare the anesthetic equipments and anesthetic drugs as per protocol of the institute.
• Attachment of monitoring equipment, institute IV access for drugs and fluids and assist providing general anesthesia.
• Monitor, maintain and managing vitals of the patient during anesthesia.
• Continue monitor, maintain and manage vitals of the patient during recovery period until full recovery & Preparation of resuscitation and CPR materials.
• Carry out other duties as required and given by the line manager.
