Database Administrator
Verscend, An American offshore company in Nepal invites application for the above Position
Requirements
- Configuration & Support of Database (Clusterware and standalone in Oracle/MSSQL) and related products.
- Keep the system stable, high-performing, and always available with solid redundancy and backup/recovery/DR strategies.
- Hands on experience in developing automation scripts.
- Experience in Implementing and maintaining database security.
- Database performance tuning and troubleshooting with best practices.
- Deploy upgrades, patches, and implement high availability and disaster recovery for databases.
- Participate in 24/7 ON-call rotations.
- Setup and maintain documentation and standards.
- Experience with Database support in Vertica or Exadata will be a plus.
