Plan International has been working in Nepal since 1978. helping marginalised children, their families and communities to access their rignts to health, ecucation, economic security ard protection. Through the supoort of local partners, Plan International works in 42 districts in Nepal. We take active measures in recruitment and employment practices to ensure children are protected.
Plan International Nepal invites application from interested and eligible cardidates for the following position on Promoting Agriculture,. Health and Alternative Livelihoods (PAHAL) Program:
- Regional WASH Coordinator for PAHAL Program-1 Position
Fixed term employment til 30 September 2019 based at Nepalgunj Field Office.
About the Program: PAHAL is a five year Program funded by the ISAID’s office of Food for Peace. It is implementing in consortium led by Mercy Corps in partnership with international., national and local partners. The project is implementing in 14 districts in the middle and hign hill of Mid and Far Western Nepal. The project seeks to improve nutritional status, by strengthening Iivelihoods and increasing the capacity of vunrable households to prevent, mitigate, adapt to and recover from shocks and stresses in communities with deep poverty and high rates of malnutrition in critical zones. Plan International Nepal is working in the areas of WASH (Community Led Total Sanitation) to support its work inproving sanitation status and nutrition behavior with special focus in pregnant women and children.
