Supply, Delivery and Related Services of I.ab and Surgical Supplies

1. Rapti Academy of Health Sciences (RAHS) has allocated budget for the procurement of Lab and Surgical Supplies. Bidding is open to all eligible and qualified bidders for Supply Delivery and Related services of Lab and Surgical Supplies.

2. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures specified in the RAHS Financial Regulation and Public Procurement Act of Nepal and are open to all eligible bidders.

3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents from the Office of Registrar, Rapti Academy of Health Sciences (RAHS), Ghorahi, Dang on RAHS official working days between 09:00 to 17:00 hours (Nepal Standard Time) from July 18, 2019 to August 07, 2019, at their own convenience.

4. Bidding documents may be purchased on or before 12:00 pm, August 07, 2019 on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon the payment of non-refundable fee of NPR 10,000.00. The method of payment will be in the form of cash deposit certificate in Account No: 09711000204 of Laxmi Bank Limited of the Rapti Academy of Health Sciences (RAHS).

If requested in writing and on payment of an additional non refundable fee of NPR 10,000.00 per set, documents shall be sent through a reliable courier services. The RAHS, however, will not be responsible for any delay or non-delivery of the documents so sent.

5. Sealed Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 12:00 hours (Nepal Standard Time) on August 07, 2019. Documents after this deadline shall not be accepted.

6. Bids must be valid for 90 days from the date of bid opening must be accompanied by bid security not less 2.5 % of bid amount (Inclusive of VAT). The bid security shall be in the name of the bidders. The Bid Security must be valid for thirty (30) days beyond the bid validity period. Bid will be opened in the presence of the bidder’s representative, who chose to attend in person, at the address below at 14:00 hours (Nepal Standard Time) on August 07, 2019.

7. If the specified date for submission and opening of the bid falls on a RAHS holiday, then the same time of the next working day shall be considered for such events. The bid and validity of the bid security remain unchanged unless amended by another notice.

8. Pre-bid meeting will be arranged at RAHS, on July 29, 2019 at 11:30 AM. Interested bidders are requested to attend on the meeting.

9. In the case of discrepancies or error in bid documents, bid notice or any other documents, RAHS reserves the right to amend and correct at any time.

10. RAHS reserves the right to accept or reject, wholly or partly any or all the bids without assigning reason, whatsoever.
