Invitation for Bids for Procurement of Steel CGI Roofing Sheets (REAP/IFB/CGI/D16)

  1. Bids are invited from the interested competent suppliers/vendors registered in Government of Nepal for the supply and delivery of following construction materials for training of earthquake affected people in Sindhupalchok with fulfilling the eligibility requirements.
Description of Works Estimated Cost (Ind. VAT)
Supply and delivery of Steel CGI Roofing sheet, Plain Gl sheet, Umbrella Nails, Bitumen Washer etc. to Melamchi, Sindhupalchowk NRs.

  1. Eligibility of Supplier (Firm)
  2. The bidder must have experience under supply of goods for at least three (3) years prior to the applications submission deadline with fulfilling the requirements.
  3. The bidder must have completed supply and delivery of Steel CGI Roofing sheet for at least one housing project in Nepal.
  4. Suppliers interested in bid must submit photocopy of firm registration, latest tax clearance certificate, VAT/ PAN certificates, along with bid document.
  5. Eligible Bidders may obtain further information and bidding documents at the office of Purchaser as indicated in section (6) below.

  7. All bids must be submitted on or before 13:00 hours, 11th April 2017. Documents shall not be received after this deadline. The signed hard copy of bids/offers has to be submitted in a sealed envelope and addressed to :

  1. Bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders1 representatives who choose to attend at 14:00 hours on 11 April 2017 at the office as indicated in section (6) above.
  2. Bids must be valid for a period of 45 days after bid opening and must be accompanied by bid security, amounting to 5 % of the quoted Bid amount (inclusive of VAT), which shall be valid for 45 days beyond the bid validity period, (i.e. 90 days after bid opening).
  3. If the last date of purchasing, submission and opening falls on a government holiday then the next working day shall be considered as the last day.
  4. This office reserves the right to accept or reject, wholly or partly any or all bids without assigning any reasons, whatsoever.
