Bid Invitation Notice for Procurement of Office Equipment

• Government of Nepal (GoN) has received a grant from the International Development Association (IDA) Grant no: H902-NEP, for the implementation of Irrigation and Water Resources Management Project (IWRMP) and intends to apply a part of the grant to cover eligible payments under the contract for which this invitation is issued.
• Irrigation and Water Resources Management Project, Department of Irrigation on behalf of GoN, invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of following Office Equipments.

• The delivery place is Office of the Project Director, Jawalakhel, Lalitpur and delivery period is within 30 days from the date of contract signing.
• Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedure as specified in the Public Procurement Regulation, 2064 of GoN concurrent to the Financing Agreement with the World Bank and is open to all eligible bidders.
• A complete set of Bid Documents may be purchased from the following offices by interested bidders on the submission of a written request upon payment of a non – refundable fee as specified above until the 2074/08/20 during office hours. The cost of documents can be paid by cash.

• The completed bid documents must be submitted to the above office on or before 12.00 hours (Noon) of the 2074/08/21. If the last date of bid document purchasing and bid submission/ opening falls on a Government holiday then the same time on the next working day shall be considered for such events. However, the last date for bid submission and opening shall be the next working day after the last date of bid purchasing. In such case the validity of bid security shall be considered from already specified last date for bid submission. Bids shall be attached with the copies of the bidder’s registration, renewed License, VAT Registration Certificates, Income Tax Clearance up to FY 2073/74, Authorized distributors/dealers certificate, Self-Declaration of eligibility for bidding, No conflicts of self Interest, No punishment regarding contract. Bid documents shall be enclosed and sealed into a single envelope in two copies (One “Original” and One “Copy”) and shall clearly marked “ORIGINAL”AND “COPY”.

• The bids will be opened in presence of the bidders or their authorized representatives who choose to attend at the above – mentioned addresses at 13:00 hours on the bid submission date.
• Bids must be accompanied with a bid security as specified above in the form of Bank Voucher deposited in account no. 180-51-0016856, Dharauti at Nepal Bank Limited, Gabahal, Lalitpur or Bank Guarantee from a commercial Bank drawn in favor of Irrigation and Water Resources Management Project having a validity of 30 days beyond Bid validity period. Bank Guarantee issued by any Finance Company or any other types of bank will not be accepted. In case of guarantee from Foreign Bank, it must be counter guaranteed by any commercial Bank operating in Nepal.
