BIDS INVITATION NOTICE

For Supply and Delivery of Electrical Resistivity Tomography (ERT)

  1. Departments of Mines and Geology invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the For Supply and Delivery of Electrical Resistivity Tomography (ERT) under National Competitive Bidding procedures. Bidding is open to all eligible Bidders.

  1. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the office of DMG, Lainchaur, Kathmandu, Nepal or may visit PPMO website bolpatra.gov.np.
  2. Bidders shall have the option of submitting their bids electronically. The details are given in e-GP Portal of PPMO website bolpatra.gov.np.
  3. Bidding documents may be purchased from Department of Mines and Geology. Lainchaur, Kathmandu by eligible Bidders on the submission of a written application, along with the copy of firm registration certificate, VAT/PAN registration certificate, Tax Clearance of Fiscal Year 073/074 and upon payment of a non-refundable fee as mentioned below till office time of 20th January 2018. Bidders who choose to submit their bid electronically may purchase the hard copy of bidding documents as mentioned above or may download the bidding document for e-submission from PPMO website bolpatra.gov.np. Bidders submitting their bid electronically should deposit the bidding document cost as non-refundable fee of NRs. 3,000 in the account No. 11001 Office Code 27-307-08 of DMG at Rastriya Banijya Bank, Thamel Branch, Kathmandu and the scanned copy of the bank deposit voucher shall be uploaded by the bidder at the time of Electronic submission of bids. Electronic bid submission procedure are described in amended bid document.
  4. The bidders who submit the bid electronically are requested to submit all the original hard copy documents, including bid document within 7th day after bid submission date at DMG, Lainchaur.
  5. Sealed Bids must be delivered to the Department of Mines and Geology Lainchaur. Kathmandu on or before 12:00 noon on 21th January 2018 and must be accompanied by a bid security in form of Bank’s Guarantee mentioned above which shall be valid for 30 days beyond the bid validity period. The bank guarantee shall be issued byA class commercial bank in Nepal.
  6. The Bidder shall furnish a bid security of NRs. 1,50,000.00 ( excluding VAT) from “A” class commercial bank or the Bid Security in the form of cash, the cash should be deposited in the current Dharauti account No. 1100203(Ko.Le.Ni.Ka) Office Code 27-307-08 of DMG at Rastriya Banijya Bank. Thamel Branch. Kathmandu and submit the original receipt of the deposited amount of cash along with the bid.
  7. The bidders are invited to participate in the Pre-Bid meeting to be held at the office of DMG, Lainchaur, Kathmandu, on 5th January 2018 at 12:00 PM.
  8. Bids shall be opened at 14.00 hours on 21st January 2018 at Department of Mines and Geology. Lainchaur in the presence of Bidder’s representatives who chose to attend. Bid must be valid for a period of 90 days counting from the day of bid opening.
  9. The Purchaser reserves the right to accept or reject, wholly or partly any or all the bids without assigning reason, whatsoever.
  10. If the last date of submission and opening falls on a government holiday then the next working day shall be considered the last day. In such a case the bid validity and bid security validity shall be recognized with effect from the original bid submission deadline.
  11. If any provisions of this document are inconsistent with Public Procurement Act (PPA), 2063 or Public Procurement Regulations (PPR), 2064, the provisions of this document shall be void to the extent of such inconstancy and the provisions of PPA and PPR prevail.
