To implement Global Fund – HIV and AID

As Principal Recipient of Global Fund, Save the Children in collaboration with Government of Nepal (GoN) and Country Coordinating Mechanism (CCM) Nepal, is going to support Non- Governmental Organizations (NGOs) to implement comprehensive HIV and AIDS Harm Reduction Program for PWlDs and comprehensive HIV and AIDS prevention program for MSMs.TGs and MSWs which supports the national response for achieving Nepal Hi Vision 2020 Ending the AIDS epidemic as a public health threat by 2030.

Save the Children invites proposals from qualified NGOs to collaborate as Sub-Recipients (SRs) to implement HIV & AIDS prevention program for 6 months period (16 Sept 2017 to 15 Mar 2018).

The interested organizations submitting proposals must have at least three (3) years proven experience in managing HIV Prevention program for Key Populations (KPs).

The minimum criteria for the organizations to be considered as potential SR include:

1. Legal Status: Registered according to prevailing tows and affiliated with SWC, should have a PAN number, yearly financial audits, renewal of the organization, and tax exemption certificate.
2. Have bylaws and functional Executive Board which includes office structure, policy, procedures and human resources (financial and programmatic; plan in place for program implementation.
3. Priority will be given to organizations (i) ted by KPs landlord PLHIVs and ii) led by women and socially excluded group.
4. Get approval on their proposed program including areas of implementation, program modality with District Coordination Committee or OHO or 0PHO to implement pogrom(s) in the proposed district(s).
