Invitation for Bids

  1. The Government of Nepal (GoN) has allocated the funds towards the cost of Earthquake Emergency Assistance Project (EEAP) and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for Rehabilitation and Reconstruction of BURTIBAIWG-K//UNGA-BONGADO VAN- KHVNKHAM ROAD Contract No: Mo FA L D/EE A P/BAG/W/PDRF/01/074-75. Earthquake Emergency Assistance Project (EEAP) invites sealed bids from all eligible registered Nepalese contractors for submission of their bids electronically. Bidding is open to all eligible as per Section V of bidding document.
  2. The Ministry of Federal Affairs and Local Development, Earthquake Emergency Assistance Project District Level Project Implementation Unit, BAGLUNG (“the Employer”) invites sealed bids or electronic bids for the construction of BURTIBANG-KHUNGA-BONGADOVAN-KHUNKHANI ROAD under NCB-Single stage Two Envelope Bidding Procedure.

Only eligible Bidders with the following key qualifications should participate in this bidding:

  1. Minimum Average Annual Construction Turnover of the best 3 years within the last 10 years: [NRs 262,427,000.( Two hundred sixty two millions four hundred twenty seven thousands rupees only]
  2. Minimum Work experience of similar size and nature: |one number of project and value of 157,456,000 (One hundred fifty seven millions four hundred fifty six thousands rupees only]
  3. Eligible Bidders may obtain further information at the office of Earthquake Emergency Assistance Project, District Level Project Implementation Unit, Baglung or may visit PPMO e-GP system www. bolpatra.gov.np/egp
  4. Bidder should submit their bid electronically and may download the bidding documents for e-submission from PPMO’s e-GP system bolpatra.gov.np/egp. Bidder should deposit the cost of bidding document in the Project’s Rajaswa (revenue) account as specified below .

Bidding Document Cost: 10,000.00 ( Ten thousands Rupees only)

  1. Pre-bid meeting shall be held at Earthquake Emergency Assistance Project (EEAP) District Level Project Implementation Unit, Baglung Nepal on 21s* Jan, 2018, at 15 hrs.
  2. Electronic bids must be submitted to the office Earthquake Emergency Assistance Project (EEAP), District Level Project Implementation Unit, Baglung, Nepal by through PPMO’s e-GP system www. bolpatra.gov.np/egp on or before 1st Feb 2018 hrs on 12:00.
  3. The Technical bid will be opened in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 13 hrs on 1st Feb 2018 at the office of Earthquake Emergency Assistance Project (EEAP), District Level Project Implementation Unit, Baglung, Nepal. Bids must be valid fora period of 120 days after bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security or scanned copy of the bid security in pdf format amounting to a minimum of NPR 4,921,000.00 (Four Million Nine hundred twenty one thousands rupees only), which shall be valid for 30 days beyond the validity period of the bid
  4. If the last date of purchasing and /or submission falls on a government holiday, then the next working day shall be considered as the last date. In such case the validity period of the bid security shall remain the same as specified for the original last date of bid submission.
