Invitation for Bids for the following tender:

GSD-073 74-01: “Supply and Delivery of Computer Hardware and Accessories” (NCB)

• The fluids to cover eligible payments under the above Contracts shall be from the own funding of Nepal Electricity Authority. General Service Department.
• The Nepal Electricity Authority. General Service Department invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of Computer Hardware and Accessories.
• Eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the office below. For electronic bidding, eligible bidders may bid from website uea.org.up .
• A complete set of Bid documents may be purchased during office hours on all working days by all eligible bidders from the date of publication onward upon submission of a written application to the address given below accompanied by a bank voucher of the amount (Non-refillable) as specified in the table below towards the cost of the Bid document, deposited in NEA Current Account K- 44650-C at Kuinari Bauk Ltd. Putalisadak. Kathmandu or by an account payee draft of the same amount issued in favor of General Service Department. NEA. If requested, the Bidding Documents can also be sent by post/courier services upon payment of additional cost of NRs. 1.000.00. However, the NEA will not be responsible for delay or non-delivery of the documents so sent.
• For the Tender no. GSD-073-‘74-01 the purchaser will grant a Margin of preference to goods manufactured in Nepal as Governing rule of GON.
• All Bids accompanied by a bid bond in amount & validity period as specified below must be delivered in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders at or before 12:00 hours local time on or before the dates and address given below. The Bids shall be opened at 14:00 hours local time on the last date of the Bid submission, in the presence (or without presence) of the authorized representatives of the Bidders who choose to be present. If the specified dates of Bid Purchasing, submission and opening fall on a public holiday. Bid submission and opening shall be done on the next working day.

7. If the last date of purchasing, submission and opening falls on a government holiday then the next working day shall be considered the last day. In such a case the bid validity and bid security validity shall be recognized with effect from the original bid submission deadline.
