Invitation for bids

  1. Singhadurbar Reconstruction Implementation Unit invites sealed bids or electronic bids from eligible bidders for the construction following mention works under National Competitive Bidding – Two Envelope Bidding procedures. Only eligible bidders with the following key qualifications should participate in this bidding:
  2. Eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Bidding Documents at the office of SRIU, telephone: 01-4200589, and e-mail singhdurbar@yahoo.com or may visit DUDBC website: edudbc.gov.np
  3. A complete set of each Bidding Documents may be purchased from the office SRIU by eligible Bidders on the submission of a written application, along with the copy of company/firm registration, VAT, PAN certificate and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of NRs. 5000.0 (five thousand) till 2074/33/15. If so requested, the each Bidding Documents can also be sent by post/courier services upon payment of additional cost of NRs. 2000.0. However, the Employer will not be responsible for delay or non-delivery of the documents so sent.
  4. Bidder who chooses to submit their bid electronically may purchase the hard copy of the bidding documents as mentioned above or may download the bidding documents for e-submission from DUDBC’s Web Site edudbc.gov.np. Bidders, submitting their bid electronically, should deposit the cost (as specified above) of bidding document in the SRIU’s Rajaswa (revenue) account as specified below and the scanned copy (PDF format) of the Bank deposit voucher shall be uploaded by the bidder at the time of electronic submission of the bids.   1. Minimum Works Experience Of Similar Size and nature : One Building Project and value of each Rs.
  • 0 (without VAT) in building Construction and key activities mentioned in bid document.
  1. Pre-bid meeting shall be held at SRIU, Singhdurbar at 14:00 hrs of 2074/33/39
  2. Sealed or electronic bids must be submitted to the office SRIU, Singhdurbar by hand/courier or through DUDBC website edudbc.gov.np on or before 12:00 hrs of 2074/33/16 at the office of the SRIU bids received after this deadline will be rejected.
  3. The bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 14:00 hrs on the 2074/03/16 at the office of SRIU, Singhdurbar. Bids must be valid for a period of 90 (ninety) days after bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security or scanned copy of the bid security in PDF format in case of e-bid, amounting to a minimum of NRs 7,00,000.0 which shall be valid for 30 days beyond the validity period of the bid 2074/37/10.
  4. Bidders who choose to bid through e-bidding must submit the original copies (hard copy) of mandatory document to the Employer within 7 days of last day of bid submission(2074/03/22).
  5. If the bidder, except in e-bidding, wish to modify or withdraw their bids, the bidder should submit sealed application 24 hours prior to the last date and time of the bid submission. The bid security will be forfeited if the bidder wishes to modify or withdraw the bid after the aforesaid period.
  6. If the last date of purchasing and /or submission falls on a government holiday, then the next working day shall be considered as the last date. In such case the validity period of the bid security shall remain the same as specified for the original last date of bid submission.

11.Other mandatory information as per Public Procurement Act (PPA) and Public Procurement Regulation (PPR).
