• The funds to cover the eligible payments under the contract as specified above shall be from the Government of Nepal and Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA).
• The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA). Kathmandu Valley Transmission Capacity Reinforcement Project invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of Double Cab pickup.
• Eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the office below.For electronic bidding the website is:http://www.e-nea.org.np
• Bidding documents may be purchased during office hours on all working days by any eligible bidders upon submission of a written application, along with a copy of Company /Firm registration certificate and accompanied by a bank voucher of the amount (Non-refundable) as specified in the tabic below towards the cost of the Bid Documented in Kathmandu Valley Transmission Capacity Reinforcement Project, NEA Current Account No. 0150000003329 (KTM Valley Transmission C.R. Project) at Sanima Bank. Kalanki, Kathmandu, or by an account payee draft of the same amount issued in favor of Kathmandu Valley Transmission Capacity Reinforcement Project, NEA.
• All Bids accompanied by a bid bond (as specified below) must be delivered in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders latest by 12:00 hours (local time) on or before the dates specified and at the address given below.
• The bids shall be opened at NEA. Kathmandu Valley Transmission Capacity Reinforcement Project. Kharipati, Bhaktapur at 14:00 hours (local time) on the last date of bid submission, in the presence of Bidder’s representatives who choose to attend. Bids must be valid for a period specified below counting from the day of bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security as specified below, inclusive of VAT and shall be valid for minimum 30 days beyond the bid validity period.

7. If the last date of Bid Document purchasing, submission and opening falls on a government holiday then the next working day shall be considered the last day. In such a case the bid validity and bid security shall be reorganised with effect from the origional bid submission deadline.

• Mode of Bidding is National Competitive Bidding (NCB).
• NEA reserves the right to accept or rejcct.any or all the bids, partly or wholly, or cancel the bid altogether, without assigning any reason whatsoever.
