1. The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has allocated funds towards the cost of construction of public toilet and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the contract for contract identification No: ESSD-07-2073/074: Construction of public toilet at Kusmanda Sarobar Tribenidham, Hetauda, Makawanpur. Bidding is open to all eligible Nepalese Contractor Registered with Government of Nepal.

2. The Environment and Social Sftidies Department ofNepal Electricity Authority invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the construction of public toilet in Hetauda-Dlialkebar-Duhabi 400 kV transmission line area at Hetauda. Makawanpur district. The bidding document and notice is also available at NEA’s web site http://www.e-nea.org.np

3. Eligible Bidders may obtain fiirther information and inspect the Bidding Documents at the office specified below.

4. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased on or before 17.00 hurs. 26 June 2017 (2074/03/12) from the office specified below by eligible bidders on the submission of a written application, along with the copy of company/ firm registration certificate, and upon payment of a non-re fund able cash deposit or a bank draft paid to or made in favor of ESSD of NRs 3000.00 (Nepalese Rupees Three thousand only) to account number 37-01-524-250978-01-7 at the Machhapuchchhre Bank Limited. If so requested, the Bidding Documents can also be sent by post/courier services upon payment of additional cost of NRs.3,000.00 However, the Employer will not be responsible for delay or non-delivery of the documents so sent. 5. Sealed Bids must be submitted to the below office on or before 12:00 hrs. on 27 June 2017 (2074/03/13) .Bids received after this deadline will be rejected.

6. Bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 14:00 hrs 27 June 2017 (2074/03/13) at the office specified below. Bids must be valid for a period of 90 days after bid opening.

7. Bidding document shall be submitted with the same name by which the document lias been purchased. In case of joint venture document shall be purchased in the name of joint venture. Bidding document shall not be accepted in the name of joint venture, if purchased as single bidder.

8. ESSD sliall not be responsible for any costs or expenses incurred by the bidders in connection with the preparation and submission of bids.

9. If die last date of purchasing, submission and opening falls on a government holiday, it sliall be extended to tlie next working day

10. The Employer reserves die right to accept or reject, wholly or partly any or all the bids without assigning any reason, whatsoever.
