  1. The Government of Nepal [GoNJ has allocated funds or received a loan/credit/grant from GoN towards the cost of Chautara Bazar Road and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for Chautaramun/NCB/01/073/74. Ridding; is open to all eligible Nepalese.
  2. Chautara Sangachowkgadhi Municipality, Sindhupalchowk invites sealed bids or electronic bids from eligible bidders for the construction of Asphalt concreting works with side drain and cross drainage works under National Competitive Bidding – Two Envelope Bidding procedures.

Only eligible bidders with the following key qualifications should participate in this bidding: Minimum Average Annual Construction Turnover of the best 3 years within the last 10 years: NRs 3,32,00.000.00. Minimum Work experience of similar size and nature: At least 1 (One) number of project of road construction with Asphalt Concreting, side and cross drainage works with value of NRs. 1,77,00,000.00.

  1. Eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Bidding Documents at the office of Chautara Sangachowkgadhi Municipality, Sindhupalchowk or may visit PPMO website bolpatra.gov. n p.
  2. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased from the Chautara Sangachowkgadhi Municipality, Sindhupalchowk by eligible bidders on the submission of a written application, along with the copy of company/firm registration certificate, and upon payment of a non- refundable fee of NRs. 5.000.00 till 2074/02/13.

Bidder who chooses to submit their bid electronically may purchase the hard copy of the bidding documents as mentioned above or may down load the bidding documents for e-submission from PPMO’s Web Site www.bolpatra.gov.np. Bidders, submitting their bid electronically, should deposit the cost(as specified above) of bidding document in the Project’s Rajaswa (revenue) account as specified below and the scanned copy (.pdf format) of the Bank deposit voucher shall be uploaded by the bidder at the time of electronic submission of the bids.   1. Pre-bid meeting shall be held at Chautara Sangachowkgadhi Municipality, Sindhupalchowk at 11:00 AM NST 2074/02/05
  2. Sealed or electronic bids must be submitted to the office Chautara Sangachowkgadhi Municipality, Sindhupalchowk by hand/courier or through PPMO website bolpatra.gov.np. on or before 12:00 PM NST on 2074/02/14. Bids received aller this deadline will be rejected.
  3. The bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 1:00 PM NST on 2074/02/14 at the office of Chautara Municipaliy, Sindhupalchowk. Bids must be valid for a period of 90 days (2074/05/09) after bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security or scanned copy of the bid security in pdf format in case of e-bid,_amounting to a minimum of NRs. 6,40,000.00 which shall be valid for 30 days beyond the validity period of the bid i.e. 2074/06/08.
  4. If the last date of purchasing and /or submission falls on a government holiday, then the next working day shall be considered as the last date. In such case the validity period of the bid security shall remain the same as specified for the original last date of bid submission.
  5. Other mandatory information as per PPA and PPR.
