Invitation for Bid for Procurement of Four Wheeler Vehicle (4WD)

Pokhara Lekhnath Metropolitan City (PLMC). Office of the Municipal Executive Pokhara. Kaski invites sealed bids from any eligible manufacturing companies or firms, or authorized suppliers or dealers for supply of four wheeler vehicle (4WD).

A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased from the Procurement Unit Room No 115, Pokhara Lekhnath Metropolitan City. Pokhara by interested bidders on the submission of a written application along with copies of company / firm registration certificate, VAT/ PAN Registration Certificate, Tax Clearance Certificate of F.Y. 2072/73 and upon payment of a non-refundable fee or deposit the cost of bidding document (as specified in above) in the Account No. 3020304018106 in the name of Pokhara Lekhnath Metropolitan City, Office of the Municipal Executive Pokhara at Rastriya Banijya Bank, Prithivi Chowk Pokhara within the office hours Ashvin 22. 2074. or can be downloaded the bid document from the Office website www.pokharamun.uov.np . In addition the original Bank deposit voucher shall be required to be submitted along with the bid files.

Bids must be submitted to PLMC at or before 12:00 hrs of Ashwin 23, 2074. Bids shall be sealed in an envelope addressing to PLMC indicating name of the contract, contract identification number, bidder’s name and address. Bids received after the deadline shall not be accepted.

Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the address below at 14:00 hrs on Ashwin 23, 2074. Bid must be valid for 90 days counting from the day of bid opening and must be accompanied by bid security of Class-A Commercial Bank, amounting mentioned above, shall be valid for minimum 30 days beyond the bid validity period.

If bidder wishes to submit the Bid Security in the form of cash, the cash should be deposited in Dharauti Account No. 3020303007106 in the name of Pokhara Lekhnath Metropolitan City. Office of the Municipal Executive Pokhara at Rastriya Banijya Bank. Prithivi Chowk Pokhara and should submit the original receipt of the deposited amount of cash along with the Bid. If the last date of purchasing, submission and opening falls on a government holiday then the next working day shall be considered the last day. In such a case the bid validity and bid security validity shall be recognized with effect from the original bid submission deadline.

If bidders are not manufacturer, they must submit sole authorization letter from the manufacturer or from the authorized distributor of the manufacturer.

The PLMC reserves the right to accept or reject wholly or partly any or all the bids without assigning any reason whatsoever and also can amend and correct any discrepancies or error in bid documents, bid notice or any other documents.
