1) Patan Academy of Health Sciences (PAHS) has requested a grant to the Ministry of Health, Government of Nepal and intends to apply the grant to cover eligible payments under the contract for construction of Administrative Block of Patan Hospital. Bidding is open to all eligible Bidders from Nepal.

2) The PAHS invites sealed bids from the eligible and qualified bidders under National Competitive Bidding (NCB) for Construction of Administrative Block of Patan Hospital. I’he time for completion is eighteen (18) months from date as per commencement letter and Defects Liability period shall be one (1) year from date stated in Taking over certificate.
3) Only eligible bidders with the following key qualification should participate in bidding.
Average Annual construction Turnover of three best years over last ten years (NRs.) Specific Experience Requirements Liquid Assets/Credit Facilities (NRs.) Bid security (NRs.) Cost of Bid Document (NRs.)
120 million Two (2) contract each worth Rs 100 million or more or similar nature 15 million 2.5% of Bid amount 15,000.00

4) Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect Bidding documents at the office of Registrar, PAHS Lagankhel. Lalitpur. Tel No: +977-01-5545112

5) A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested eligible bidders from the aforesaid office on submission of written applications along with certified valid Business Registration certificates. VAT and PAN Registration certificates and TAX clearance certificate/Tax Returns submission clearance for F.Y. 2072773 and upon payment of nonrefundable fee NRs. 15,000.00 per set in Financial Administrative section.

6) Pre-bid meeting shall be held at 2:00 pm on date June 23, 2017 at PAHS. Attendance is strongly advised for all prospective Bidders or their authorized representatives who have purchased the Bidding Documents but is not mandatory.

7) A bidder will be select under competitive method using single stage single envelope post qualification procedure. I’he bidder shall demonstrate at least the key of qualification requirement based on documentary evidences as stated in l able-1.

8) Completed sealed Bids must be delivered to the office of the Registrar, PAHS on or before 12:00 noon date July 02, 2017 Bids received after this deadline will not be accepted.

9) The scaled Bids shall be opened in the presence of Bidder or their authorized representatives who choose to attend at 14:00 hrs. on the same date July 02, 2017.

10) The Bids shall be valid for period of 120 days from last day of Bid submission shall be accompanied by bid security 2.5% of Bid amount including VAT (Submit the separate scaled envelope) or equivalent amount unconditional bid bond valid for 120 days and issued from recognized financial institutions in the favor of PAHS.

11) Bidders are advised to inspect the site and to assess requirements of access to place of works, constraints on working time, space- limitations and pollution control requirements.

12) If the date of document purchase deadline or deadline of submission happens to be a public holiday the next office day will be the respective date of document purchase deadline for submission. PAI IS working hour is from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and the office remains close on Saturday and Wednesday because of administrative holiday.

13) In the case of discrepancies or error in bid documents, bid notice and other documents, PAHS reserve the right to amend and correct at any time.

14) PAHS reserves the rights to accept or rejects any or all Bids without assigning any reasons ad incurring any liabilities whatsoever.
