Invitation for Bids

1. The National Academy of Medical Sciences, Bir Hospital, Mahabouddha, Kathmandu invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Supply & Delivery of following Goods. Bidding is open to all eligible Bidders from all countries as defined in Bid document, if applicable.
2. Eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the office of National Academy of Medical Sciences, Bir Hospital, Mahabouddha, Kathmandu, Phone no: 977 -1 -4221800,4221119,4221988 Telefax: +977 1 4222864.
3. The Eligible Bidders may obtain further information and can inspect the Bidding Documents in bolpatra.gov.np/egp and the e-Bidding procedure shall be as specified in the bid document.

4. Bids shall be opened in the presence of Bidders’ representatives at specified date and time as shown in table below at the office of National Academy of Medical Sciences, Bir Hospital, Mahabouddha, Kathmandu . Bids must be valid for a period of 90 days counting from the day of bid opening and must be accompanied by bid security, amounting to a minimum of as specified in the table below for each package, which shall be valid for minimum 30 days beyond the bid validity period (bid validity period 120 days).
5. If the bidder wishes to submit the Bid Security in the form of cash, the cash should be deposited in the form of Bank voucher drawn in the name of National Academy of Medical Sciences, Bir Hospital, Mahabouddha, Kathmandu, Nepal office code no. 27-370-37 Deposit Account No.: 1700203, of Treasury Controller Office, Tripureshwor, Kathmandu.
6. If the last date of purchasing, submission and opening falls on a government holiday then the next working day shall be considered the last day. In such a case the bid validity and bid security validity shall be recognized with effect from the original bid submission deadline.
7. The Employer reserves the right to accept or reject, wholly or partly any or all the bids without assigning reason, whatsoever.
8. Bidders are requested to submit the Bid Security as package wise as specified in the table below.
9. Pre Bid meeting shall be held on 17-01-2018, 12:00 hour at National Academy of Medical Sciences, Bir Hospital, Mahabouddha, Kathmandu.
10. Any provisions which are not mentioned in this notice will be consistent with Public Procurement Act (PPA), 2063 / Public Procurement Regulations (PPR), 2064 and other prevailing Nepalese Rules.
