IFB No.CBPL/G/NCB/2073-74/05 Date of publication: 21 April 2017 1. The Central Biological Production Laboratory (CBPL) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of Laboratory Water Purification System under NCB Procedure.   1. Bidding documents may be purchased from the office of CBPL, Tripureshwor, Kathmandu or Kosh Tatha Lekha Niyantrak Karvalaya, Tripureshwor by eligible Bidders on the submission of a written application, along with the copy of company/firm registration certificate and upon payment of a non-refundable fee on or before 21 May, 2017 during officc hours.

  1. Pre-bid meeting shall be held at CBPL, Tripureshwor, Kathmandu, at 11:00 AM on 5 May, 2017.
  • Scaled Bids must be submitted to the above officc of CBPL, Tripureshwor. Kathmandu, Nepal on or before 12:00 PM, on 22 May, 2017. Documents received after this deadline shall not be accepted.
  1. Bids shall be opened in the presence of bidder’s representatives, who choose to attend 2:00 PM on 22 May, 2017 at the office of CBPL. Tripureshwor, Kathmandu. Bids must be valid for a period of 90 days counting from the day of bid opening and must be accompanied by bid security as mentioned above which shall be valid for minimum 30 days beyond the bid validity period.
  2. Matters not covered by this notice shall be in accordance with Public Procurement Act. 2063; Public Procurement Regulations, 2064 and their amendments.
  3. The bidders shall submit their modification or withdrawal in initial method of bid submission only. Modification or Withdrawal in other form shall not be accepted.
  • If the last date of purchasing, submission and opening falls on a government holiday then the next working day shall be considered the last day. In such a case the bid security validity shall be recognized with effect from the original bid submission deadline.
  • The employer reserves the right to accept or reject, wholly or partially any or all the bids without assigning any reason, whatsoever.
