Invitation for Bids

For the supply and delivery of Lab Equipment’s, Computer Peripherals and Furniture

The Government of Nepal [GoN], has allocated fund toward the cost for the supply and delivery of Lab Equipment’s, Furniture and Computer Peripherals for different Polytechnic Institutes and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contracts. Bidding is open to all eligible Nepalese Bidders.

The Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training invites separates sealed or electronic bids from eligible bidders for the following tender, under National competitive bidding procedures specified in Public Procurement Act and Regulations.

Eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the office of CTEVT/Property Management Section, Sanothimi, Bhakatapur, Phone No. 977-1-5639586,6630408, 6630769, Fax: 977-1-6635125, P.O. Box No.3546 or may visit PPMO website www.bolpatra.gov.np A complete set of Bidding documents may be purchased from the CTEVT, Property Management Section and CTEVT, OcE, Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, by eligible bidders on the submission a written application, along with the copy of renewed Company/firm registration certificate, VAT and Tax clearance certificate of fiscal year 2073/074 and upon payment of a non-refundable fee as specified above (in S.N. 1, 2 and 3 of notice 2) till 24th Shrawan, 2075 during office hour.

Bidder who chooses to submit their bid electronically may purchase the hard copy of the bidding documents as mentioned above or may down load the bidding documents for e-submission from PPMO’s e-GP system Web Site www.bolpatra.gov.np/ppmo Bidders, submitting their bid electronically, should deposit the coasts specified above (in S.N. 1, 2 and 3 of notice 2) in the following Bank account of CTEVT and the scanned copy (pdf format) of the Bank deposit voucher shall be uploaded by the bidder at the time of electronic submission of the bids. Pre-Bid Meeting shall be held at the office of CTEVT, Property Management Section, Sanothimi, Bhaktpaur on 13th Shrawan, 2075 at 13:00 hours for tender no. 01,14:00 hours for tender no. 02 and 15:00 hours for tender no. 03.

Sealed or electronic bids having its contract name and identification number must be submitted to the office of Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training, Sanothimi, Bhaktpaur by hand/courier or through PPMO’s e-GP system www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp on or before 12:00 noon on 25th Shrawan, 2075. Bids received after this deadline will be rejected. Hard Copy of e-submitted bids should be submitted to the CTEVT, Property Management Section, Sanothimi, Bhaktpaur within Three (3) days from the date of bid submission after the opening of bids. The bidders failing to do so shall not be included in the evaluation process.

The bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 13:00 hours for tender no. 01, 14:00 hours for tender no. 02 and 14:30 hours for tender no. 03 on 25th Shrawan, 2075 at the office of CTEVT, Property Management Section, Sanothimi, Bhaktapur. Bids must be valid for a period of 90 days from the date of bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security or scanned copy of the bid security in pdf format in case of e-bid, amounting to a minimum NRs. provided above (in S.N. 1, 2 and 3 of notice 2), which shall be valid for 30 days beyond the validity period of the bid (22nd Mangsir 2075)

If the last date of purchasing and /or submission falls on a government holiday, then the next working day shall be considered as the last date. In such case the validity period of the bid security shall remain the same as specified for the original last date of bid submission.

Any intimidation, collusion and cartelling during bidding process shall be punishable by law.

The Employer reserves the right to accept or reject, wholly or partly any or all the bids without assigning any reason, whatsoever.

Any additional matters not covered by Invitation Notice and mandatory information shall be in accordance with prevailing Public Procurement Act 2063 (with first amendment 2073) and Public Procurement Regulation 2064 (with latest amendment 2073 ) of the Government of Nepal.
