• The Government of Nepal [GoN] has allocated funds or received a loan/credit/grant from Government of Denmark towards the cost of UNNATI Inclusive Growth Program in Nepal and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for Mangladevithan-Pangmakhola-Malta-Leluwa Road Upgrading Works, Contract ID: DTO/UNNATI/SANKHUWASABHA/VRCN/01-074/75. Bidding is open to all eligible Nepalese and Foreign Bidders exccpt those bidders who is involved currently in any contract of UNNATI Inclusive Growth Programme in Nepal.
• District Technical Office, UNNATI Inclusive Growth Program, Sankhuwasabha invites sealed bids or electronic bids from eligible bidders for the construction of Mangladevithan-Pangmakhola-Malta-Leluwa Road under National Competitive Bidding – Two Envelope Bidding procedures. Only eligible bidders with the following key qualifications should participate in this bidding:

Minimum Average Annual Construction Turnover of the best 3 years within the last 10 years: NR.92,500,000.00 Minimum Work experience of similar size and nature: [Two contracts each of value NRs. 55727000.00]

• A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased from the office District Technical Office, Sankhuwasabha by eligible Bidders on the submission of a written application, along with the copy of company/firm registration certificate, and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of NRs. 00 till 2074/06/26 (12^th Oct 2017). If so requested, the Bidding Documents can also be sent by post/courier services upon payment of additional cost of NRs. 1000.00. However, the Employer will not be responsible for delay or non-delivery of the documents so sent.

Bidder who chooses to submit their bid electronically may purchase the hard copy of the bidding documents as mentioned

above or may down load the bidding documents for e-submission from PPMO’s Web Site www.bolpatra.gov.np. Bidders,

submitting their bid electronically, should deposit the cost (as spccificd above) of bidding document in the Project’s Rajaswa

(revenue) account as specified  below and the scanned copy (pdf format) of the Bank deposit voucher shall be uploaded by

• Pre-bid meeting shall be held at District Technical Office, Sankhuwasabha at 22^nd Sept 2017 (2074- 06-06) at 12.00 hrs.
• Sealed or electronic bids must be submitted to the office District Technical Office, Sankhuwasabha by hand/courier or through PPMO website boIpatra.gov.np. on or before 12:00 noon on 2074/06/27 (13^th Oct 2017). Bids received after this deadline will be rejected.
• The bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 13:00 hrs. on 2074/06/27(13^th Oct 2017). at the office of District Technical Office, Sankhuwasabha Bids must be valid for a period of 90 days after bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security or scanned copy of the bid security in pdf format in case of e- bid, amounting to a minimum of 1,800,000.00 which shall be valid for 30 days beyond the validity period of the bid i.e. 2074/10/27 (10th Feb 2018)
• If the last date of purchasing and /or submission falls on a government holiday, then the next working day shall be considered as the last date. In such ease the validity period of the bid security shall remain the same as specific for the original last date of bid submission.
