1. The Government of Nepal has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of Earthquake Emergency Assistance Project (EEAP). Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contracts named below.
2. The Central Level Project Implementation Unit (CLPIU), Ministry of Education (MOE) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders or joint ventures from eligible source countries of the ADB for the Construction of School buildings, Toilet and Water Supply facilities in 5(Five) schools in Ramechhap District (In 2 packages) and 4(Four) schools in Kathmandu District including site development work sunder National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedure.
3. Only eligible bidders with the following key qualifications should participate in the bidding:

4. National competitive bidding (NCB) will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s single stage single envelope bidding procedure and Bid is open to all bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.

To purchase the bidding documents, eligible bidders should:

• Write to address above requesting the above mentioned bidding documents on or before July 24, 2017 during office hour.

Or

• Bidder who chooses to submit their bid electronically may purchase the hard copy of the bidding documents as mentioned above or may down load the bidding documents for e-submission from PPMO’s Web Site bolpatra.gov.np. Bidders, submitting their bid electronically, should deposit the cost(as specified above) of bidding document in the Project’s Rajaswa (revenue) account as specified below and the scanned copy (pdf format) of the Bank deposit voucher shall be uploaded by the bidder at the time of electronic submission of the bids. Information to deposit the cost of bidding document in Bank:

6. Bidders are required to specify the total price of bid in the letter of price Bid or the Bid price in the summary of Bill of Quantities. Failure to specify the total price of the Bid in Letter of Price Bid or Bid Price in the Summary of Bill of Quantities shall be ground for declaring the bid non responsive. In addition, failure to provide (i)a complete technical proposal, and (ii) complete information to access the Bidder’s qualification in accordance with Section 4 of the Bidding Document shall be ground for declaring the bid non responsive.

Bids will be opened immediately after the deadline for bid submission in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend. • In case the day of Bid submission falls on a public holiday, the Bid submission date shall be the following working day.

8. The Employer will not be responsible for any costs or expenses incurred by Bidders in connection with the preparation or delivery of bids.
