1. Rabies vaccine Production Laboratory (RI PL), Tripureshwor, Kathmandu invites sealed bids from eligible Nepalese bidders for the procurement of glass vials (3 ml capacity) with member caps and metal caps – 2.50.000 pcs, Freeze drying glass vials (11 ml capacity) with rubber caps and metal caps – 20.000 pcs & Roller bottles (expanded surface) – 1000 pcs.

• Eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Bidding Documents at the Office of the Rabies Vaccine Production Laboratory (RVPL), Tripureshwor, Kathmandu during office horn’s or may visit E-procurement section of PPMO’s Web portal http: bolpatra.gov.up.
• A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by the interested bidders upon submission of a written application attaching copies of the Bidders Registration. VAT Registration and Tax Clearance certificates of F/Y 072/73 at Office of the Rabies Vaccine Production Laboratory (RVPL). Tripureshwor. Kathmandu and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of NRs. 3000.00 (Nepalese rupees three thousand) only. Bidding documents can be purchased within the office hours on or before Ashwin 30.2074 (16 October. 2017).

For the purpose of Bidders who choose to submit their bid electronically through E-procurement section of PPMO’s Web portal http:www.bolpatra.gov.np. the Bidders may either purchase the hard copy of bidding documents or may choose to download the necessary part of bidding documents, prepare their bids and submit their electronic bids as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. In case the Bidder chooses to download and submit bid electronically, the Bidder shall be required to deposit the cost of bidding document NRs. 3000.00 (non – refundable) in the Office Code no. : 27-312-16 Revenue Account No.:Ka 1-1-059 Revenue Head No.: 14227 either by direct deposit or by tele-transfer of deposit in the account for the purchase of the bids as specified below and electronic scanned copy (PDF format) of the Bank deposit voucher or Tele-transfer certificate shall also be submitted along with the electronic bid files.

4. Sealed Bids must be delivered to the Rabies Vaccine Production Laboratory (RVPL, Tripureshwor. Kathmandu on

or before 12:00 hrs of Ashwin 31. 2074 (17 October. 2017). Alternatively, bidders may submit their bid electronically through E-procurement section of PPMO’s Web portal http://www.bolpatra.gov.np as specified in the Instruction to Bidders on or before 12:00 hrs of Ashwin 31. 2074 (17 October. 2017). Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened physically and electronically at 13:00 hours on the same day of bid submission in the presence of the bidders or their representatives who choose to attend.

Pie-bid meeting will be held in the Rabies Vaccine Production Laboratory (RVPL. Tripureshwor. Kathmandu at

• hrs on Ashwin 20. 2074 (06 October. 2017). Detail Information about submission process of bid electronically (e-submission) shall be provided to all interested bidders who choose to attend this pre-bid meeting.

Bids must be valid for a period of 90 days after bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security amount as described in details of work below and issued by a commercial bank, which shall be valid for 30 days beyond the validity period of the bid.

If die last date of purchasing, submission and opening falls on a government holiday, it shall be extended to the next working day. hi such a case die validity of bid security shall be considered from already specified last date for bid submission.

The Employer reserves the right to accept or reject, wholly or partly any or all the bids without assigning any reason, whatsoever.
